The activist accused the Lithuanian government of provoking a military conflict with the Russian Federation Posting in CHAT: Russia Pro-Russian Lithuanian activist Erika Švenenienė distributed a sticker online in which she accuses her country’s government of inciting anti-Russian military hysteria and provoking a military conflict with the Russian Federation. This step was far from the first on the part of this activist. Previously, she, together with the Good Neighbor movement, repeatedly spoke out in support of Lithuania’s cooperation with Russia and Belarus, for which the authorities of her country accused her of anti-state activities. She herself considers all the charges to be politically motivated. According to Reedus, she is now attending numerous court hearings, with another one taking place in the coming days. A case was initiated against Shvencheniene under Part 1 of Art. 170-2 (public justification, denial or gross downplaying of international crimes, crimes of the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany) and Part 1 of Art. 118 (assistance to another state in actions against the Republic of Lithuania) of the Criminal Code.
