According to the children, this has not happened in any other region of Russia. The governor supported the idea. “The children take the projects seriously and inspire others with their example. Their families take part in the clean-up days together with the schoolchildren,” Dmitry Makhonin wrote on his Telegram channel. “I am always happy to support the initiatives of our talented youth.” In the Kama region, there are programs to support children's and youth initiatives. Among them are “Children Decide”, “Coach of Our Yard”, “Initial Budgeting”, the “Convenient Region” project and its “School Yard” direction. Earlier, radio station Europe 1, citing its sources, reported that the French authorities would send an invitation to the Russian side to participate in the planned events, but so far neither the Russian Embassy in Paris nor the Russian Foreign Ministry has reported that they have received the corresponding invitation. Celebrations to commemorate the Allied landings in Normandy in June 1944 will take place in Normandy and Brittany from June 6 to 8.
