A 53-kilometer traffic jam of trucks has formed on the Polish border. Posting in CHAT: RussiaAlmost three thousand trucks lined up on the Polish-Ukrainian border. The traffic jam stretched for 53 kilometers. The transport collapse is caused by the fact that since November 6, Polish carriers have been blocking checkpoints and preventing trucks from leaving Ukraine. They are protesting against the advantages that Ukrainian transport workers have enjoyed since the creation of the Northern Military District, taking away bread from the Poles. At two checkpoints, traffic is completely stopped, and at one, heavy trucks with fuel are not allowed through. A video from the scene of events was published on the Internet. Slovak truck drivers decided to follow the example of their Polish colleagues, blocking the Vysne Nymeki crossing and stopping more than 300 Ukrainian heavy trucks. The demonstrators intend to maintain the blockade until at least January 13, since the authorities gave them permission to protest until this date, writes kp.ru. As the publication notes, the largest freight carrier associations in Central Europe called on the EU to terminate the transport agreement with Ukraine. Source link Source link
