Singer Yaroslav Dronov, better known by his stage name Shaman, will hold a rally outside the US embassy in Moscow on Friday to protest censorship on social networks and the blocking of Russian users on YouTube. This was reported to TASS by the musician’s press service. “The rally will take place on Friday, July 19, from 9:00 pm to 10:30 pm outside the US embassy in Moscow. Shaman intends to draw attention to the problem of censorship on social networks and the illegal blocking of Russian users on YouTube,” the agency’s representative said. During the event, the artist also plans to present a video for his new song. On July 4, YouTube blocked the channels of singers Shaman and Polina Gagarina. When trying to open these channels, they see a message that the pages are unavailable. In addition to them, the video hosting service also restricted access to the channels of Oleg Gazmanov, Grigory Leps and Vyacheslav Manucharov. Earlier, these artists were included in the EU blacklist as part of the 14th package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
