The designer EuroGeoProject from Samara has terminated the contract with the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Sverdlovsk Region for the development of a project to clean the Volchikhinskoye and Verkhne-Makarovskoye reservoirs, the main sources of water supply for Yekaterinburg. pixabay.com The company filed a complaint with the regional UFA regarding the procurement terms, stating that it was impossible to fulfill the contract within the established deadlines. According to the Ura.Ru agency, in the complaint the designer states: “Within 68 calendar days from the date of conclusion of the contract, it is impossible to conduct high-quality engineering surveys, develop design documentation and receive a positive expert opinion.” It is also emphasized that during this time it is possible to complete obtaining an expert opinion only for a fully implemented project. According to the contract, the contract with the contractor is planned to be completed no earlier than September 20-23. The work must be completed by November 29, 2024. EuroGeoProject believes that such terms of the contract violate the law and require a change in the completion dates for the work. FAS will consider the company’s complaint on August 27.
