The basketball club “Dynamo” (Vladivostok) met with Moscow’s CSKA-2 in their last home game of the season. The Fonbet Championship of Russia-Superleague match ended with a victory for the Primorye team with a score of 81:66. The guests chose the tactic of a small foul from the first seconds of the game, for which were penalized with free throws and an upsurge of Dynamo 5:0. By the end of the period, the army team managed to tie the gap – 9:9, but the traditional passes of Bogdanovich and Karpeko, as well as the hits of Lavnikov and Desyatnikov determined the result of the fourth match – 20:15. At the beginning of the second period, the guests narrowed the gap to “-1”, but Grachev entered the game just in time and solved the task well under the basket. A few minutes before the big break, the Muscovites once again went on the offensive, but Bogdanovich’s “hook” and “Desyatnikov’s dunk” allowed Dynamo to breathe with relief – 37:31. Thanks to the efforts of Karpeko at the beginning of the second half, the Primorye players created a comfortable advantage, which only increased over time. In addition, Desyatnikov added some spice to the game, winning not one throw through before the final siren. Dynamo won with a final score of 81:66. “The CSKA youth are very well-prepared and tenacious guys, few adults provide such contact. It wasn’t easy, but we were focused and controlled the entire match. Our realization of long-range and penalty shots is not adequate. Now we have a five-game journey ahead, we have to recover and continue working on our shortcomings,” commented the head coach of BC Dynamo (Vladivostok) Eduard Sandler. “Today we lost the battle under the baskets. Dynamo is with the victory! The opponents wanted to rehabilitate after the previous loss in front of their fans and played energetically. Not everything worked out, just like for us. But right now our front line is inferior in size and we completely lost the battle under the baskets, the consequences of this are defeat,” said Ivan Kucherov, head coach of BC CSKA-2 (Moscow). Now, Eduard Sandler’s charges go on the road. The next regular championship match will take place on November 22 in Tambov.
