There will be a festival-competition in memory of warriors “Let Memory Speak” in Syktyvkar. The Syktyvkar Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church invites people to participate. The first republican competition-festival of military-patriotic, spiritual song and poetry “Let Memory Speak” is dedicated to the memory of the warriors who gave their lives for faith and the Motherland. Its main goals are to strengthen the traditions of Orthodox culture, spiritual and moral, patriotic upbringing of youth, the formation of love for the Motherland, family values, native language, the popularization of the best images of the military exploits of defenders of the Russian land of all generations and historical events. The competition will take place in two stages: absentee and personal. To participate, it is necessary to send an application and a video recording to the email address [email protected] by November 15th. The work chosen by the participants for presentation should correspond to the theme of the festival. The opening of the competition-festival will take place on December 5th in the bell tower of the Cathedral of St. Stephen (Syktyvkar, ul. Svobody, 60). On December 6th, there will be a gala concert of the winners. The competition-festival is organized by the Syktyvkar Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) with the support of the Ministry of National Policy of the Komi Republic and the branch of the Foundation “Defenders of the Fatherland in Komi”.
