On the eve of Donetsk’s 155th anniversary, city authorities laid wreaths at the monument to the city’s founder, John Hughes, and also opened a new art object in the Park of Forged Figures – an arch with the flags of the DPR and Russia, which meet in the middle in a symbolic handshake.
