The father of her two youngest sons, Alexey Samusev, did not help raise the children, but abused and tortured Oksana for 15 years in front of the children, even after the end of the relationship. He broke her nose, ribs, knocked out teeth, etc.
On December 26, 2020, Samusev broke into Goncharova’s apartment, handcuffed her, beat her, took her phone and money, locked her in, and left. The Ministry of Internal Affairs refused to initiate a criminal case against Samusev at least nine times since 2014, as listed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ decisions to refuse to initiate a criminal case against Samusev.
On September 29, 2022, she filed a lawsuit because she lived on the same landing with Samusev and could not leave due to an unpaid mortgage. Samusev’s alimony debt amounted to about a million rubles, and he did not have a permanent job.
Samusev has been convicted three times for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm, robbery, and threats to kill, and has been charged dozens of times with administrative offences.
In early October, he broke into her home again with a friend, and they started drinking. Samusev began insulting and hitting Oksana, threw her phone into the wall and smashed it, then rushed at his ex-wife with scissors, injuring her. In self-defense, Oksana snatched the scissors and hit her back. Samusev kicked her and left, fell on the stairwell, and died the next day in intensive care due to the wound.
Oksana Goncharova has been in pretrial detention since September 30, 2022. Her mother-in-law and her ex-husband’s brother deprived her of parental rights, formalized guardianship over the younger children and, according to her eldest son, interfere with communication between the brothers and forbid the children to say the word “mom” or mention her. At the same time, Oksana was ordered to pay child support.
The court in Elektrostal, Moscow Region, classified the scissor attack as murder, not self-defense, and sentenced Oksana Goncharova to seven years in prison. Hers, and not the police officers who refused to open a criminal case against the rapist!
