Currently, in the cities of the Samara region, the fee for solid waste removal is calculated based on square meters of housing, and in rural areas – based on the number of people living in the house. On Saturday, June 22, during a working trip to the Kinelsky district, acting governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, taking into account numerous appeals from residents to him, announced the decision to revise tariffs. In urban districts, calculations will be made not by square meters of housing, but by the number of people living. “We are reconsidering approaches to rates in the city’s solid management. This decision was made today. This is where we will lend a helping hand. We now hope that the transition to this method of tariff setting will not affect those categories of residents who require support and special attention.
