In Komi, the jury of a competition for children and youth announced “New Names” in literature. Honoring the winners of the republican literary competition “Howl Nimyas” – “New Names” was held at the I.A. Literary Museum. Kuratova. Famous writers congratulated the young talents, wished them inspiration and invited them to collaborate in youth literary publications. In 2023, the competition was dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the people’s poet of the Komi Republic A.E. Vaneeva. The jury evaluated 54 works in the Komi language and 148 works in Russian. Master classes were held in the village of Griva, Koygorodsky district, and in the town of Yemva, Knyazhpogostsky district. Traditionally, the winners were determined in four categories and the literary prize named after Alexander Vasilyevich Ulyanov was awarded.
