Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, who arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) in June on the Starliner spacecraft, may return to Earth in February on the Crew Dragon, SpaceNews reports, citing NASA. NASA noted that there are internal disagreements over which spacecraft will take the astronauts back. The US space agency will make an official decision on the return plan for Wilmore and Williams in mid-August. Before that, NASA also intends to determine a method for returning Starliner to Earth. According to commercial flight program manager Steve Stich, Boeing and NASA do not have a clear understanding of the reasons for the decrease in the performance of Starliner engines, which are necessary for the correct return of the spacecraft.
