The sporting event will be held in Murmansk for the first time. Boys and girls aged 12-13 and 14-15 years are allowed to participate in personal events of the program. The competition will be held in the “light category” and “heavy category” sports departments. More than 300 athletes from 38 regions registered to participate, including athletes from Lugansk, a new territory of the Russian Federation. According to the regional Ministry of Sports, the opening ceremony will take place on March 13 at 13:00, at which gymnasts on the pole will perform a demonstration performance. The competition itself will begin on March 13 at 10 a.m. with preliminary fights in the light weight category. The final matches of this discipline will take place on March 14 at 10:00, and at 18:00 the winners and runners-up will be awarded. Athletes will compete in weight category disciplines on March 15, 16 and 17 from 10 am. The strongest in this discipline will be awarded on March 17 at 17:00.
