Vladimir Putin took part in the plenary session of the XXVII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The meeting was also attended by the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Alberto Arce Catacora, and the President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa. The moderator of the discussion was political scientist, historian, scientific director of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics of the Higher School of Economics Sergei Karaganov. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum has been held annually since 1997 and during this time has become one of the world’s leading platforms for discussing key issues of the global economy. In 2024, SPIEF will be held under the motto “The foundation of a multipolar world is the formation of new growth points.” More than 12 thousand people take part in it – shareholders and managers of leading companies, recognized experts and analysts, political, public and government figures.
