Kim Jong-un visited on March 6 a large base of the Korean People’s Army in the western part of the country, intended for operational exercises, where he inspected training facilities and supervised practical maneuvers of military units.
According to KCNA, he stressed that the armed forces at all levels must enter a new turbulent period in “accelerating preparations for war” in accordance with the current situation. The DPRK leader outlined the tasks of increasing the level of intensity of the exercises to ensure “victory in the war” if one breaks out.
