In Vladivostok, on Verkhnyaya Molodezhnaya Street, a concrete mixer collided with a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, as a result of which the concrete mixer overturned on its side. Thanks to the barriers, the fallen car was prevented from falling from the retaining wall onto the bus stop, which happened to a bus several years ago. According to the Traffic Management Center, the incident occurred at 3:29 p.m. A concrete mixer moving in the right lane turned left, causing the driver to lose control and collide with a brand new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado passing by. The truck overturned as a result of the impact. The traffic police noted that the barriers at the Molodezhnaya stop prevented the concrete mixer from falling. Traffic is heavy in the area and drivers are asked to use caution. The markings on the concrete mixer and the identification card show that it belongs to Biton LLC, a company engaged in the production of ready-mixed concrete and mortars. According to the traffic police, the company’s production base is located on Dneprovskaya Street, where the concrete mixer came from. The concrete mixer was lucky that it was held up by a railing. For example, in 2014, on the same section, a bus without passengers with faulty brakes broke through stops and fell from the upper “Molodezhnaya” stop to the lower one, as a result of which the driver and two pedestrians were injured. And in 2016, a truck transporting metal lost control and hovered over a bus stop where there was a bus with people, but no one was injured.
