In Berezovsky, the murder of emergency nurse Stepan Shaburov occurred. He responded to a call at the house on Gagarin Street, 11, but the door did not open for a long time. When the door finally opened, 66-year-old Gennady Kazakov came out and silently stabbed the medic in the chest.
Stepan managed to reach the ambulance, which took him to the hospital, but, unfortunately, the doctor died from blood loss.
It subsequently became known that the attacker was a former repeat offender and spent about 15 years in prison for theft and violence against his ex-wife.
Stepan was only 28 years old and left behind two children.
