In the spring of 2023, he saved his wounded commander from death by dragging him five kilometers through a minefield. In the fall of 2023, Andrei himself was seriously wounded during shelling and underwent rehabilitation at the Vishnevsky Hospital near Moscow. Then he returned to the front lines again. The soldier died on July 12 while carrying out a combat mission. “In our memory, he will forever remain a brave, strong, strong-willed person, a real hero!” say the relatives of the deceased soldier. In his youth, Andrei Rizaev served in the Air Force, served in Pskov, participated in the Victory Parade in Belarus, and received an award for strengthening military cooperation. In total, Andrei has eight military awards, including the Suvorov, Zhukov, and artillery reconnaissance medals, among others. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
