A resident of Kursk fears that the criminal case of the murder of her student son is hushed up because of the family of the accused. His father is the current judge of the Rylsky District Court, and his grandfather is the former deputy chairman of the Kursk Regional Court Vasily Zolotarev. On April 21 of this year, Oksana Spaskina lost her son Andrei. The guy, who was 20 years old, died in the intensive care unit of city clinical hospital No. 3 without regaining consciousness. The death certificate states that Andrei died from blood pooling between the meninges as a result of blunt force trauma. Oksana Aleksandrovna does not know why on April 19 her son was beaten in a strange apartment on Pobeda Avenue, in the company of his friend. The woman pointed out another strange detail: Andrei was found naked, wearing only a sock. The guy was in a coma. A criminal case was initiated under Part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of the victim through negligence.” Oksana Aleksandrovna does not agree with the progress in establishing the circumstances of her son’s death. In her opinion, several people who were in the apartment were involved in the crime. “I understand that my child cannot be returned” We contacted Oksana Aleksandrovna: she is afraid that the criminal case will fall apart and the perpetrators will not be fully punished. On the night of the murder, Andrei visited his friend Ilya Klimenko. They met in the computer room five years ago. Relatives and friends add that he comes from an influential family. Since April 21, Ilya has been under house arrest, on June 7 he was arrested and is in pre-trial detention center No. 1; Oksana Aleksandrovna told us everything she knew about what happened from April 19 to April 21, when Andrei died. On April 18, my son went to technical school. In the evening we called each other, he said that he was going for a walk. He didn’t come to spend the night. On April 19, Ilya Klimenko wrote to me on VKontakte and asked for my phone number. I wrote to him, after which he called via VK and asked if it was possible to come, it was a serious conversation. I replied: ok, go ahead. He knew where my son and I lived, he knew the address. Somewhere around 9:30–10:00 Ilya Klimenko arrived with his girlfriend Alexandra. They were the ones who told me that my son was in the ambulance in a coma. They said that at the time of departure the ambulance had not yet left, but was carrying out resuscitation measures, since the son was already in a coma. Klimenko explained that my son had a huge hematoma. He said he was naked, wearing only a sock. I asked why he was naked. Klimenko said he didn’t know. He added that his son’s documents are located at the address where he lived with Alexandra. After they left, I called 112 to find out which hospital my son was taken to. Around 12:00, not knowing where he was, I went to the emergency room. They answered that this did not happen, although the ambulance said that they would take him to this hospital. After that, I called hospital No. 3. They told me that there was going to be an operation, and I went there. A doctor came to me and said that they had performed a craniotomy and removed the hematoma, but my son had cerebral edema. Without regaining consciousness, on April 21 at 10:20, my child died. After I learned about my son’s death, I realized that Ilya Klimenko had all the documents. I went to the Northern Police Department, where they gave me my son’s passport and other documents. There they told me that torn clothes, a bag and documents were seized from the apartment where Klimenko and his girlfriend lived. A criminal case was opened. On April 27, I went to the Investigation Department of the Central Administrative District of Kursk to find out who handed over the criminal case. I was called a researcher. I told him that the results of the forensic medical examination included a note about a “normal-sized spleen,” despite the fact that Andrei was removed several years ago. They told me they would rewrite it. I concluded my testimony by saying that my son’s phone called my friend Dmitry at 6:30. Klimenko and two other guys called their mutual friend Dmitry from Andrey’s number. He was asked to leave, he lived not far from Pobeda Avenue, where everything happened; Dmitry went down, approached the house and asked what happened. One of the guys replied that they could not wake up their son. Together they climbed to the 14th floor. Dmitry saw Andrey on the stairs. He lay naked, with a hematoma on his face, covered in blood, wheezing. Dmitry got scared and ran away. He called his brother and asked him to call an ambulance. I understand that my child cannot be returned. But other children may suffer, because Klimenko succeeds in everything. “Instigator” Oksana Spaskina turned to the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, mentioning the story of how Ilya beat another teenager three years ago. The guy studied with the murdered Andrei in a parallel class. He also met Ilya in the computer room. We contacted the mother of the injured guy, she told about the beating of her son. My child was invited to the send-off party. There he behaved like a whipping boy. That’s how much fun it was there. My child was beaten there. They took me outside and deliberately beat me, jumping on my head. We contacted the police, our statement was accepted, but the child said that he did not know this person. [Илью], was shy. My son immediately stopped communicating with him. Ilya is the instigator, the leader, like in a pack of stray dogs. He encouraged his friends as a commander. He has serious relatives there, they can get rid of him. “I’m afraid the suspect will get away with it: his family has connections.” Friends of the murdered Andrei published several posts on VKontakte with a request to spread information about the tragedy. In her address to Bastrykin (the text of the letter is at the disposal of the editors), Oksana Aleksandrovna explained why the case should be public. The father of the accused Ilya Klimenko is judge of the Rylsky District Court Klimenko Maxim Vladimirovich (appointed by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 11, 2016 No. 176 as a judge of the Rylsky District Court of the Kursk Region for an unlimited term of office). The guy’s grandfather is the former deputy chairman of the Kursk Regional Court Vladimir Aleksandrovich Klimenko (retired since June 28, 2015). The chairman of the regional court at that time was Vasily Grigorievich Zolotarev (resigned on February 27, 2019). The Investigative Committee of Russia responded to Oksana Spaskina’s appeal. Alexander Bastrykin requested a report on the criminal case regarding Andrei’s death. In April of this year, during a conflict, a young man was beaten by an acquaintance with whom he was visiting. Despite the medical assistance provided, the victim died from his injuries. According to the applicant, several people who were in the apartment were involved in the crime. The previously mentioned situation went viral on social media. The criminal case is being investigated by the Investigative Department of Russia for the Kursk Region. Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin made a request for this. A. The head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kursk Region, Mikhail Vasilchenko, reported on the preliminary and final results of the investigation of the criminal case, taking into account the arguments set out in the appeal. The execution of the order is controlled by the central office of the department. There have been some significant developments in the investigation over the past month. The charge brought against Ilya Klimenko was reclassified from Part 1 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation to the more strict fourth part of this article. From 1:13 – Andrey is among the winners of the “Kursk Bulge” e-sports tournament. Actions that negligently lead to the death of the victim are punishable by imprisonment for up to 15 years with or without restriction of freedom. up to two years. Klimenko’s sentence was also changed from house arrest to detention in a pre-trial detention center. Now Andrei’s relatives and friends are waiting for the end of the investigation to find out what exactly happened in the apartment on the night of April 19. The editors of the Krai news agency have prepared a journalistic request to the Investigative Department of the RF Investigative Committee for the Kursk Region, which requests information about the reasons for changing the preventive measure for defendant Klimenko; reasons for the duration of the preliminary investigation and the time for making the final procedural decision in the case; due to the existence of grounds for bringing other persons to criminal liability.
