In the Samara region, a pedophile raped and killed a two-year-old girl.
The suspect was a 36-year-old neighbor.
The tragedy occurred in the city of Chapayevsk. That day, little Miroslava was with her grandmother and uncle, playing in the yard near her house, while her mother was at work. When the adults left for a while, the neighbor Vaschenko, taking advantage of the child’s trust, dragged the girl away with him. When the relatives noticed that the little girl was missing, they immediately began looking for her.
Sergei Vaschenko also participated in the search, trying to divert suspicion from himself. After some time, he allegedly found the girl when she was still alive.
Miroslava was taken to intensive care by doctors. Doctors tried their best to save her, but her injuries were fatal. After that, Vaschenko tried to escape, but the police managed to detain him.
According to locals, Vaschenko already had several convictions for serious crimes. He lived with his sister and worked wherever he could.
“A few years ago he got a job as a janitor at our housing office. He showed himself in a bad light. He was constantly intoxicated by alcohol or drugs. That’s why he lost his job and constantly showed up in an inadequate state,” said local resident Sergei Gogolkin.
