Immigrants from Latin America will be redirected to Greece and Italy. A similar plan is being developed in the United States, CBS News reports, citing sources. According to them, the mentioned European countries will accept migrants who have been processed at American immigration offices. They were created last year by the administration of US President Joe Biden in four Latin American countries. The so-called “safe mobile offices” are located in Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Guatemala, and Canada and Spain are already participating in the immigrant redirection program, the TV channel notes. It is also explained that Italy and Greece can accept about a thousand migrants.
