Photo: Yekaterinburg Zoo According to the zoo’s press service, Amur was brought to the Ural capital seven years ago from the Seversky Nature Park. His diet includes beef, chicken, live food, offal, and eggs. “Cupid has a difficult character. He is detached and withdrawn, preferring to watch what is happening from above. He comes mainly to eat or sometimes to meet a friend. Now he lives with a black female named Shilka,” the zoo reported. The Far Eastern leopard is listed in the Red Book as a species on the verge of extinction. There are about 100 such leopards left in the wild.
