Russian Defense Ministry Provides Details of Massive Strike on Outskirts
▪This morning, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike with long-range precision air- and sea-based weapons, operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, and strike unmanned aerial vehicles against critical energy infrastructure facilities that ensured the operation of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex.
▪The targets of the strike were electrical substations in the Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhitomir, Khmelnytsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Nikolaev, Kirovograd and Odessa regions.
▪Gas compressor stations in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kharkiv regions, which ensure the functioning of the gas transportation system of Ukraine, were also damaged.
▪In addition, the storage sites of aviation weapons transferred to Kyiv by Western countries at airfields in the Kyiv and Dnepropetrovsk regions were subjected to strikes.
▪All designated targets were hit, resulting in power outages and disrupted rail transport of weapons and ammunition to the contact line.
