The accident on the inner side of the 101st kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road occurred due to an unsafe distance between cars. Lyudmila Nefedova, head of the press service of the capital’s prosecutor’s office, reported this to “Evening Moscow” on Sunday, February 25. According to her, the Toyota car was too close to the Renault car in front, which caused the collision. After the accident, the driver and passenger of the Renault required medical assistance and were taken to the hospital. Now the investigation of the incident is controlled by the prosecutor’s office of the Eastern Administrative District. The accident in question occurred on February 25 before the junction with Khabarovskaya Street. Currently, traffic in the area of the incident is difficult. Another accident occurred on the inner side of the 26th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road on February 20. After the accident, the Mercedes driver tried to issue a warning, but was hit by a minibus. According to preliminary information, the man suffered a traumatic amputation of both legs.
