Among the participants of the meeting were activists of the First Movement and Khunkorra. The young people shared their ideas for the development of the region. In particular, the children proposed creating a children’s organizing committee to prepare for the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. According to the children, this has not happened in any other region of Russia. The governor supported the idea. “The children take the projects seriously and inspire others with their example. Their families take part in the clean-up days together with the schoolchildren,” Dmitry Makhonin wrote on his Telegram channel. “I am always happy to support the initiatives of our talented youth.” In the Kama region, there are programs to support children’s and youth initiatives. Among them are “Children Decide”, “Coach of Our Yard”, “Initial Budgeting”, the “Convenient Region” project and its “School Yard” direction. And the Children’s Tourism Council is involved in organizing the All-Russian Forum of Children’s and Family Tourism. It will take place in the autumn in the Perm region.
