The girl from Kamensk-Uralsky, who died in early August, did not use drugs or alcohol. A forensic expert said caffeine was found in the 16-year-old schoolgirl’s body. This is explained by the fact that before her death she drank three cans of energy drink.
“The examination confirmed that before her death she did not take medications, drugs or alcohol. Caffeine was found in the oral cavity, stomach, liver and kidneys,” the girl’s father noted, adding that the investigation had previously considered a possible overdose of energy drinks.
Earlier, cyclist Eduard Golikov admitted his involvement in the murder of a schoolgirl in Kamensk-Uralsky, despite the fact that he initially denied his guilt. According to him, he tried to meet the girl, but she refused him. Then he grabbed her and she lost consciousness. Golikov eventually got scared and ran away.
However, Golikov subsequently retracted his testimony. It is important to note that when examining the girl’s body, no traces of rape or other violent acts were found.
According to one version, the girl could have been afraid of the attack, which led to her heart stopping. Investigators previously suggested that her death could have been caused by a drug overdose.
