Experts from the Bank of Russia spoke at the Republican Financial Forum “Financial Culture” (November 16-17, Syktyvkar) about the integration of elements of financial literacy into the educational process, cybersecurity in the financial sector, and presented the “Museum in a Suitcase” project.
Representatives of the Bank of Russia, financial organizations, small businesses, scientific and pedagogical community, clergy and volunteers in the field of financial education gave lectures, master classes and sessions at the forum. As part of the event, they talked about introducing the basics of financial literacy into the schools of the republic and held a parent meeting about financial education in the family.
Online lessons from the Bank of Russia on financial literacy for schools and colleges of the republic were also presented.
Anastasia Kuzhanova, representative of the Bank of Russia for the Komi Republic, gave a lecture on financial security and protection against fraud for pensioners. Forum participants also got acquainted with the “Museum in a Suitcase” project, presented by bank employees.
