More than 400 children from the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions visited the Victory Museum as part of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia”.
Young Russians saw the immersive exhibition “Feat of the People” and, together with their guide, were transported into the past of our country.
“This is my first time in Moscow, I am delighted with this city, there is beautiful architecture here. I was amazed by the Victory Museum. Very beautiful exhibits, very clear examples. I consider visiting such excursions a must. Here is a clear example of how all the events developed and you can immerse yourself in this atmosphere of the Great Patriotic War,” shared Lubomir Murzak.
The museum space presents the contribution to the Victory of home front workers, scientists and cultural figures, and ordinary citizens of the country. The project is located on an area of more than 3 thousand square meters and includes about 7 thousand exhibits, as well as modern multimedia complexes.
Guests saw 3D panoramas, immersive theater, audio and visual solutions. For example, films-reconstructions of events, filmed specifically for the museum.
“I’ve already been to Moscow, but this is my first time at the Victory Museum. The scale of this museum is amazing. I’ve been to many museums, but this excursion turned out to be the most interesting,” noted Natalya Baroksanova.
The museum guide told young visitors about the contribution of the Soviet people to the Great Victory. The little guests walked the path from the Brest Fortress to Berlin, “visited” the library of besieged Leningrad and the famous Amber Room, a peasant hut and the house of underground workers, factories and hospitals, and “climbed” the steps of the defeated Reichstag.
The excursion program at the Victory Museum is carried out within the framework of the patriotic tourism project “Victory Navigator”.
