FederalPress reports that in 2025 and 2026, pensions in Russia are planned to be indexed twice a year. In 2025, payments will increase by 4.5 percent and 2.2 percent, and in 2026 by 4 percent and 2.3 percent. It is known that next year pensions for non-working pensioners will increase by 7.5 percent. Thus, the average annual insurance pension for this category of pensioners will be 25,590 rubles until 2026. We previously wrote that pensions in Russia will increase from January 1, 2024. Next year, more than ten trillion rubles will be allocated to increase payments to pensioners. In addition, more than one trillion rubles were allocated to pay for sick leave, maternity benefits and child care benefits.
