A fire in an apartment on Bering Street in Tomsk occurred on November 18. The man was injured and was taken to the hospital with burns, poisoning and burn shock, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The fire occurred in an apartment on the first floor of a six-story building. As a result of the fire, the sofa, furniture and things in the room burned down, and the walls became smoked. “A man (identified) was injured. Acute inhalation poisoning by combustion products, thermal burn of hands, palms, respiratory tract, burn shock. He was taken to the OKB to the burn department,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. The total area of the fire was six square meters. The fire has been extinguished and its cause is being determined.
