On Sunday, June 30, Acting Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev held the first meeting of the Council of Heads of Municipalities of the Samara Region, where he discussed the socio-economic development of the territories and mechanisms for solving problems received by residents. The regional government paid great attention to interaction with the heads of municipalities and providing assistance on the most difficult issues. “We will increase this practice, I know the level of responsibility of each manager and the team that works at the site. Sometimes it is not easy to make decisions in conditions of limited resources, and there are always many problems,” said Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. heads of cities and districts of the region. He added that the heads of territories, communicating with residents every day, hear the problems. “You are obliged to respond to them. Here, of course, there will be a serious strengthening of our joint work – resource, administrative, managerial. We will do everything, as the Government of the Samara Region, to ensure trust, you are left alone with your problems, the problems of residents will remain. This is the task facing the Samara Region,” Vyacheslav Fedorishchev emphasized. The head of the region noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin and the residents of the region face many unfulfilled tasks. “So, live everyday communication with people should be in the foreground. This is the only way to find out the real state of affairs in various areas: medicine, housing and communal services, transport, landscape. And there are a lot of questions. Maximum immersion in their solution, a sense of responsibility, honesty and efficiency, and most importantly, I expect results from each head of the municipality,” said Vyacheslav Fedorishchev. At the same time, the head of the region assured that the heads of cities and districts can count on the constant help and support of the regional government on all key and pressing issues and find the right solutions. “The city entity is not a separate, independent body. The city entity is part of a large team of the Samara Region Government. Therefore, we have common problems. And residents should understand that they can always turn to you and get help,” added Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, emphasizing that such meetings will be held every month. This will effectively solve the accumulated problems. “This is our job,” he concluded.
