The third stream of the Academy of Innovators program has successfully completed in Moscow, demonstrating new record results, reports Deputy Mayor of the city Natalya Sergunina. According to her, this stream was record-breaking in several respects. The program participants managed to attract 93 million rubles in investments and subsidies, which is one and a half times more than the results of the previous stream. During the acceleration program, 55 startups were created, which is 20 percent more than in the previous period. In addition, the average age of project authors decreased from 31 to 28 years, Sergunina said, whose words are quoted in the press release of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow. As explained by the press service of the department, 40 out of 100 best developments were prepared by senior students of Bauman Moscow State Technical University, NUST MISIS, MIPT and other leading universities. The number of pilot tests at the sites of large companies has tripled: six products have been tested, 17 are in the testing stage and another 16 are in the development stage. Of particular note is the growing use of technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence and big data analysis. The most popular areas of innovation were industry, construction, real estate and medicine. The final program included ten of the most promising developments, including a new method for synthesizing semiconductor materials for organic electronic devices, a platform for generating tests and studies based on user materials, a project for modular robots for repairing and diagnosing pipes and technologies for creating 3D models of rooms based on video, an AI service for selling media content and a digital assistant for automating interviews, as well as other innovative solutions. We add that since the program was relaunched in July 2023, more than 20 thousand scientists and entrepreneurs from Russia, India, Nigeria and other countries have joined the Academy of Innovators ecosystem. During this period, almost 4 thousand projects were created, and the total turnover of residents exceeded 260 million rubles.
