Two Russian soldiers clashed in a battle with a Ukrainian kamikaze drone. The video was published by the Telegram channel “War Correspondents of the Russian Spring”.
“Dramatic footage. Russian soldiers repel an attack by a deadly drone,” the authors of the public page captioned it.
The video was filmed by Ukrainians. An enemy reconnaissance drone was watching the UAV hunt our soldiers. The Ukrainian “birdie” circled over our guys like a hawk over its prey. While the drone was chasing one of them, the second tried to shoot it down by opening fire from a Kalashnikov. The soldier fired several bursts, but was unable to hit the target. His comrade also tried to destroy the UAV with small arms, but in vain. In the end, our soldier hit the FPV drone by throwing his machine gun at it.
The footage shows an explosion. One of the Russians falls to the ground and flips over from his stomach to his back. It is unclear whether the other fighter survived.
“Lucky,” wrote the Ukrainian resource that published the video, implying that our guys survived this battle.
It is not specified in which direction of the SVO these images were taken.
