Raincoats are being distributed to staff and volunteers, and journalists’ workstations are equipped with oilcloths. It is worth noting that for the first time, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games is not taking place at a stadium. Athletes are sailing on motorboats through the center of Paris along the Seine. For safety reasons, it was decided to reduce the number of spectators from 600,000 to 326,000 people.
