The regional festival of family creativity “Romashkovy Krai” (6+) will be held in the village of Olkhovatskaya Novoharkovka on Friday, July 5. It will be held in the local House of Culture. Deputy Head of the Culture Department of the district administration Elvira Lysenko told a RIA “Voronezh” correspondent that the festival is dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The program includes: honoring spouses celebrating an anniversary, large families, as well as families in which children have just been born; an exhibition of family creativity “Creations of Good Hands”; a presentation of amateur craftsmen of the Olkhovatsky district. In addition, as part of the festival, the winners of the photo contest “Bouquet of Chamomile” were determined, which the organizers held online on social networks. Before the start of the ceremonial part, a prayer service will be held in honor of Saints Peter and Fevronia of Murom – patrons of the family. “The celebration will take place for the third time,” said Elvira Lysenko. – The first “Chamomile Land” was held in 2018, and since 2023 it has been held as part of the “House of Good Hearts” project. It is held in the Novokharkiv Rural House of Culture with the support of the autonomous non-profit organization “Image of the Future”. The author of the project is the head of the Novokharkiv Rural House of Culture Lyudmila Ignatchenko. The initiative is aimed at developing family creativity, preserving folk traditions and supporting the institution of the family. The festival will begin at 10:00. Free admission.
