In the Shilovo microdistrict, a 29-year-old man became a victim of robbers who beat him and took his mobile phone. A Voronezh resident told police that at about 9 p.m. he was walking through the forest when he was attacked by young men armed with a knife and a baseball bat. The suspects were detained – they turned out to be two previously unconvicted 21-year-old men. During interrogation, they stated that the man attracted their attention with his suspicious behavior – he was allegedly looking for something under bushes and trees, constantly looking at his phone and looking around. This case was reported to the regional Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on Monday, May 13. The victim reported to the police on the evening of Friday, May 10. The attack took place in a forest area near house No. 36 on Kurchatova Street. A criminal case has been initiated against the suspects under Part 2 of Art. 162 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, as well as with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons). The article provides for up to 10 years of imprisonment. The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the detainee is being resolved. Earlier in the Semiluksky district, the investigation of a criminal case against a 37-year-old local resident was completed. He is accused of kidnapping two people, robbery and illegal possession of ammunition. The accused acted in tandem with an accomplice, whose identity has not yet been established.
