Protests against the government of Armenia resumed in YerevanRead 360 in Protests against the government of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the closure of the border with Azerbaijan resumed in Yerevan. This was reported by the Zvezda TV channel. A column of demonstrators headed towards the city’s universities. Students chanted, “Get up, student!” The leader of the demonstrators, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, demanded Pashinyan’s resignation. The day before, protests took place on Republic Square. Thousands of demonstrators gathered in the center of Yerevan. Mass actions began due to the decision of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the preliminary approval of certain sections of the border with Azerbaijan. The authorities explained that they want to bring these areas into compliance with the 1991 limit established by law. Earlier, Galstanyan gave Pashinyan an hour to resign.
