In March, The Washington Post reported that Democrats in the US House of Representatives had launched an investigation into Russia’s possible use of Starlink terminals. They sent SpaceX a letter demanding that it report complaints about possible illegal acquisitions of terminals. Later, Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren called on the Pentagon to limit the use of Starlink in Russia and some other regions, as it poses a “serious threat to the national security” of the United States and its allies, Bloomberg writes. It is assumed that Starlink terminals continue to be sold in Russia, in particular, on Ozon, the agency claims. In addition, according to the sellers, the equipment only works in annexed territories.
