The Moscow football club Spartak defeated Dynamo in the capital’s derby and reached the final of the Road of Regions of the Russian Cup. The meeting took place at the capital’s VTB Arena stadium and ended with a score of 2:0 in favor of the red and white. It is known that 25,512 fans were present in the arena during the game. Alexander Sobolev (9th minute) and Mikhail Ignatov (39th minute) scored as part of the winning team. Note that the red-and-white defender Srdjan Babic was injured and was replaced in the 11th minute of the match. It was previously reported that the new season of the Russian Premier League will begin on July 20. The schedule was approved at the general meeting of the RPL.
