This is stated in the court materials. It states that the court hearing will take place on May 16. Let us remind you that Sergei Veraks was arrested in June 2021. His case is related to the repair of the aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov. He is accused under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – embezzlement or embezzlement, that is, the theft of someone else’s property entrusted to the culprit on an especially large scale. The sanction of this article is imprisonment for a term of up to ten years with a fine of up to one million rubles or in the amount of wages or other income of the convicted person for a period of up to three years, or without it, or with no restriction of freedom for a term of up to two years.
