In the fifth anniversary season of the Festival of Young Artists of the Volga Federal District “FormART”, the Samara region collected the largest number of applications in the district – 38 people from our region expressed a desire to participate in the project. In total, the organizers received about 300 applications. According to the results of the festival’s application campaign, the Samara Region became the leader in the main nomination, the Republic of Mordovia and the Republic of Tatarstan took second place, and the Republic of Mari El took third place. Every year “FormART” brings together young street art artists from the regions of the Volga Federal District. The project has been implemented since 2020, and the Samara region occupies a leading position in it from year to year. At the end of 2023, our artist Dmitry Gorshkov became the winner with the mural “Opening of Opportunities”, decorating the facade of the educational organization on the street. Krasnoarmeyskaya, 93a. In 2024, the artists developed a unique sketch on the key theme of the festival, dedicated to the Year of the Family – “Family”, “The History of One Family”, “My Home is My Fortress”, “Hero”. my family”, “Family is one of the highest values ​​of Russian society”. The next stage is the evaluation of the work by a competent jury: federal and regional experts in the field of fine and street art, architecture and urban planning. The best sketch will be placed in one of the urban environment objects of the Samara region, and video and photographic materials with the history of creation will be sent to the district organizing committee for placement on the website formartfo.ru and participation in the final stage – public voting, which will determine the winner throughout the entire district of the Volga Federal District. Artists whose works are recognized as the best in the regions will have the opportunity to realize their ideas on the walls of buildings in the Volga Federal District. each of the 14 subjects of the Volga Federal District this summer and the winners in the special category “Kirov 650”. The winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will receive grants in the amount of 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles, and the winners of the “Work is Cool” nomination will receive gift certificates in the amount of 150 thousand to 200 thousand rubles. . The district public project “FormART” has been implemented in the district since 2020 on the initiative of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District Igor Komarov in order to develop street art, support the creativity of young artists and attract them. in creating a comfortable and modern urban environment.
