In early April, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia’s relations with Russia are going through difficult times, but their importance for the republic cannot be overestimated. According to him, during the first meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in May 2018, an agreement was reached between the countries that bilateral relations would be based on mutual respect for sovereignty and interests. Pashinyan expressed readiness for such a dialogue.
