Today, every third resident of our country subscribes to at least one official page of a government body. Only 55% of the country’s Internet audience are subscribers to government publications. Almost 2,700 state public pages with three million subscribers have been created in the Samara region. Official pages show their effectiveness and usefulness. “Government publics allow citizens to communicate with authorities and receive up-to-date information from them in the most convenient way – through social networks. Over the course of a year, they have become a powerful information channel. Now we have about 175 thousand state public pages, about 50 of them are subscribed by millions of people,” said Deputy Minister of Digital Development of the Russian Federation Oleg Kachanov. In addition to the information function, government public works serve as citizen assistants. Last year, they added useful “State Services” services, which allow you to enroll a child in a class or section without queues, as well as call a doctor for yourself or a relative.
